I have thought about getting a Livescribe pen for at least a year. After discovering that software is now available to transcribe handwriting into plain text–I ordered one. I couldn't resist after Livescribe received Macworld's 2009 Best of Show Award. In case you're like me and have no idea how the pen actually works, I've put together a short demo.
